Dari was founded in 1959 in Bologna.
In the early '70s began producing a full range of reciprocating piston that is very much welcomed by foreign markets, especially from the Middle East.
After transfer to the new factory of 6,000 m2 in S. Lazzaro (Bologna), becomes the exclusive distributor for Kaeser for the Italian market.
In 1986 it was acquired by the Fini Group of Zola Predosa (Bologna), where there will be transferred, in 2003, the entire production.
