Enamel for Food Use

Enamel-free solvent, thick. Approved for contact with food substances solid or drinking water is suitable for the internal protection of tanks, iron or concrete tanks. Applied (to + 15 ° C.) of epoxy primer or directly after cleaning by mechanical means or abrasive blasting. Repaint by 3/10h.
- General features :
Two-component , epoxy-polyamidic solvent free paint. It can be applied at high thickness in each layer.
- Use :
Being approved for contact with food at sperimental station for food preserves in Parma with certificate n° 2028/1 dated 26/10/2011, it is suitable for internal protection of iron tanks or concrete basins that have to contain or store solid/liquid food and particularly drinking
water.
Apply at temperature not lower than + 15 °C.
- Recommended cycles :
As top coat apply one or two coats of EPOREX ESA 82 on epoxy primers like PA 9 or PZ 33 respecting the overcoating time.
Apply one or more coats of EPOREX ESA 82 directly on treated surfaces respecting the overcoating time.
Direct application of two coats on perfectly dry and treated concrete.
First coat more thinned, second coat after 1-3 hours.
Application and thinning method :
- roll with 5 – 10% food alcool
- spray with 10 – 15% food alcool
- airless with 5 – 10% food alcool
Specific weigh: min. 1700 g/l max. 1800 g/l
Solid content : in weight = min.99,8 %
in volume = min.99,7 %
